Simon Abongo Age: 8 Simon is one of two hundred children which is a part of the Echoes of Mercy Program that reaches out to impoverished and orphaned children. Simon was born in 2002 in a small village in Nyanza Province called Kamioro. He lives with his parents who are poor and struggling to make ends meet. At his tender age, Simon is forced to do odd jobs to be able to get something to eat. His parents cannot even afford to give him decent clothes. The young boy goes to school bare-foot as money to buy him proper school uniform is not available. The little money that they make goes to buy food. For only $15 per month you will feed, clothe, and take care of the basic needs of this child. “This is pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father, to visit the orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” James 1:27 |

Touch the World Ministries is dedicated to identifying, recruiting, training, equipping, and leading Christian mission team to spiritually and physically aid and assist people across the world. Our primary purpose is to bring glory and honor to God and see His kingdom advanced. Our desire is to seek after and follow His will wherever He may lead us to “Touch the World” for His name’s sake.
